About the event
The Horton Farmers’ Market has been a beloved community hub in St. Thomas, Ontario, for over 100 years—connecting locals to the very best in fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced goods. As one of Canada’s oldest traditional farmers’ markets, it has proudly supported local, family-owned farms and small businesses since 1878.
What makes Horton truly special is its producer-based model: every vendor grows, raises, or handcrafts what they sell. From fruits and vegetables to meats, baked goods, honey, maple syrup, artisanal foods, handmade crafts, and more, you’ll only find authentic, local products made with care and passion.
You’ll find me there too—Samaroo Sweets, offering bold and creative desserts inspired by family, culture, and a love for all things sweet. My signature ice cream cookie sandwiches are made to bring a little joy (and a lot of flavour) to your weekend market stroll.
